X-Men Remix 2014 is coming up!

X-Men Remix signups will begin on June 21. That may still seem to be a ways off, but given that we have a new movie coming out one week (!!!!!) from today, we thought it would be a good idea to remind people that X-Men Remix is coming. There will be only four weeks between DoFP's release and Remix signups to write/draw enough qualifying works if you want to request to be remixed for the new movie, so better get on that! :D

Here's the schedule for this year:

Signups start: June 21
Signups close: June 28
Assignments out: June 29
Stories due: August 3
Archive goes live: August 10
Authors revealed: August 17

The opt-in post for Remix Madness will go up on June 29. The Remix Madness collection will open for posting on August 3, and remain open until author reveals on August 17.

Artist signups will be allowed this year, just as they were last year.

We do have one major change this year, which is that matching will be based only on X-Men (Movies), X-Men: First Class, and X-Men: Days of Future Past. All the signups we had last year included either X-Men (Movies) or XMFC, so this year we're committing to a movieverse exchange.
